Us2.ai was recently featured at the 2026 Hong Kong Chest Pain and Cardiology Forum (CCPCC) in a talk delivered by Dr. Kam Ka Ho Kevin, Consultant Cardiologist and Physician-in-Charge of Heart Failure Services at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
We're proud to share that Us2.ai was spotlighted across multiple peer-reviewed studies as the AI analysis platform of choice for real-world cardiac assessment programmes. Dr. Kam's presentation covered the growing role of AI-assisted point-of-care echocardiography in two key clinical scenarios:
- Chest Pain Assessment
- Heart Failure Screening and Diagnosis
On the heart failure front, Dr. Kam presented a compelling body of evidence built around Us2.ai across four studies:

Heart2Miss (Diana Foo et al., ESC HF Conference 2025): Bioscience graduates screened 985 patients over 7 months using handheld ultrasound devices and AI-assisted analysis (Us2.ai), identifying around 12% with early or overt heart failure. These novice operators achieved more than 85% analyzable scans after just 4 weeks of training.

Everton Beat-Breathlessness Community Hub (Sankaranarayanan et al., JACC HF 2025): Us2.ai supported cardiac screening at a community health event, where attendees with elevated NTproBNP received AI-assisted echo, leading to confirmed diagnoses of heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and COPD.

AI fully automated analysis of handheld echocardiography in real-world patients with suspected heart failure: (Campbell et al., European Journal of Heart Failure, 2025): Fully automated AI analysis of handheld echocardiograms using Us2.ai achieved a diagnostic accuracy of 0.93 for detecting reduced heart function, on par with expert human interpretation of traditional cart-based scans.

PANES-HF (Huang et al., Nature Scientific Reports, 2024): The Us2.ai AI pathway achieved an AUC of 0.880 for detecting LVEF below 50%, outperforming NT-proBNP thresholds alone, with performance rising further to 0.903 when combined.
