AI echo, plugged into the workflow you already run

Us2.ai is vendor-neutral and DICOM-native. Deploy it bundled with an ultrasound system, through an AI marketplace you already trust, back into your cardiology PACS, or via cloud and API for research and core-lab use.

DICOM in. Structured report out.

Three steps, fully automated. No manual measurement, no separate workstation, no extra clicks for the sonographer or reading cardiologist.

01

Echo acquired

Standard DICOM 2D echocardiogram acquired on any ultrasound vendor. No proprietary format or scanner-specific protocol required.

02

Us2.ai analyzes

Fully automated analysis runs in under two minutes, covering chamber quantification, valve assessment, strain, and diagnostic flags. 100% reproducibility on the same study.

03

Report returned

Structured report delivered as DICOM-SR, HL7, or PDF into your PACS, AI platform, or reporting system. Results appear alongside the original study in the reading worklist.

Performance figures reference the cleared Us2.ai software (FDA K233676) and a public ACC.25 interview by the Us2.ai CEO. Cleared indications and supported workflows differ by market. See Regulatory Status for specifics.

Four ways to deploy Us2.ai

Pick the pathway that matches your existing imaging stack and procurement model. Cross-vendor support is the default. Us2.ai is not tied to a specific ultrasound or PACS vendor.

01 Ultrasound Device

Bundled directly with the ultrasound system

For sites buying or upgrading ultrasound hardware, Us2.ai ships as an option from selected OEM partners. Analysis runs automatically post-acquisition, so the sonographer sees the structured report alongside the study without a separate workflow step.

  • Available through authorized ultrasound OEM partners
  • Vendor-neutral: also works on images from any other ultrasound system
  • No separate console or extra clicks; analysis triggers from the device workflow
Typical timeline Bundled at device install
02 AI Marketplace

Deploy through an AI platform you already use

For hospitals already standardized on a cardiology or radiology AI marketplace, Us2.ai is available through validated AI distribution platforms. Procurement, security review, and onboarding use the platform contract you already hold.

  • Single contract, single security review
  • Multiple AI applications managed through one console
  • Shorter onboarding than direct procurement
Typical timeline Typically weeks, not months
03 PACS / Cardiology Reporting

Results inside the PACS your team reads in

Us2.ai's structured echo report can be returned directly to the cardiology PACS or reporting system you already use, so reading cardiologists never leave their primary workflow. Supported integration patterns include DICOM Structured Report (DICOM-SR), HL7, and PDF return.

  • DICOM-SR, HL7, and PDF outputs supported
  • Results appear alongside the original study in the reading worklist
  • Compatible with cardiology PACS and enterprise imaging platforms
Typical timeline Scoped per PACS vendor
04 Cloud / API

Direct API or cloud-routed for research and core lab use

For research programs, imaging core labs, and pharma trials that need large-volume batch analysis, Us2.ai is available as a cloud-hosted service with secure DICOM ingest and an API for programmatic submission and result retrieval.

  • Batch and trial-grade analysis with full audit trail
  • API submission for programmatic workflows
  • Regional data residency available (US, EU, UK, APAC)
Typical timeline Days for evaluation; weeks for production

Cloud, on-premises, or hybrid

Hosting choice is independent of the integration pathway. Pick what fits your IT and data-residency requirements.

Cloud-hosted

Managed service with regional data residency in the US, EU, UK, and APAC. HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001:2022, and SOC 2 Type II compliant. Fastest to onboard.

On-premises

Containerized deployment inside the hospital network for sites with hard data-locality or air-gapped requirements. NHS DSPT / DTAC compatible.

Hybrid

Hospital-side DICOM router with cloud analysis. PHI handling stays under hospital control while the model runs on managed compute.

Integration FAQ

The questions hospital IT, biomed, and procurement teams ask most often.

How does Us2.ai integrate with our ultrasound machines?
Us2.ai is vendor-neutral. It analyzes DICOM echo images regardless of the ultrasound vendor used to acquire them. For sites purchasing new hardware, several OEM partners ship Us2.ai as a bundled option directly on the device. See the Partnerships page for the current OEM roster.
Do you support DICOM Structured Reports back to our PACS?
Yes. The structured Us2.ai report is available as DICOM Structured Report (DICOM-SR), HL7, or PDF, so it can be returned directly to the cardiology PACS or reporting system your reading cardiologists already use. The exact return format is scoped per PACS vendor during onboarding.
Can we deploy on-premises, or is this cloud-only?
Both are supported. Us2.ai runs as a cloud-hosted service (with regional data residency in the US, EU, UK, and APAC) or as an on-premises deployment for sites with hard data-locality requirements. The full architecture, hosting options, and security review answers are on the Deployment & Security page.
How long does an integration typically take?
It depends on the pathway. Deployments through an existing AI marketplace are the fastest. Sites have onboarded in as little as 6–9 weeks, compared with the 6–9 months a typical direct procurement takes, because the platform contract and security review are already in place (figures attributed to a public ACC.25 interview by the Us2.ai CEO). Ultrasound-bundled deployments install with the device. PACS and EHR integrations are scoped per vendor.
Is the integration covered by your regulatory clearances?
The Us2.ai software itself is FDA 510(k) cleared (K233676), CE Class IIb marked under EU MDR, MHRA-registered, and approved or registered in 28+ markets. The integration mechanism (DICOM/API/HL7) does not change the cleared indication; what is cleared depends on the market. See the Regulatory Status page for the full list.
How does Us2.ai integrate with our EHR or electronic medical record system?
Us2.ai returns structured results into the reading and reporting workflow. The downstream surfacing of that result in the EHR (e.g. Epic, Cerner) is typically handled by the cardiology reporting system or PACS that already writes to the EHR. For sites with non-standard EHR connectivity requirements, contact us to scope a direct integration.
